Baby is off to College

Hailey drive did not start out very good.  She ran over something and shredded her tire.  They changed to her spare and she went to Mazda but had to wait for them to open to get her a new tire.  I was already in South Bend as I went the night before so Papa helped her get everything squared away.  She didn’t come the night before because she stayed to say goodbye to Quinn.

Packing most of it in my car- thank goodness- then they could get to her spare.

I had to get back to get to Maddie’s jamboree- Kris stayed with Hailey for the “walk down the Ave”

Such a bittersweet experience.  So excited for her to spread her wings and soar.  It’s what we have been preparing her for her whole life, but sad to leave my little girl.  I held it together the whole time and got ready to leave and Hailey lost it which in turn made me lose it.  She has some great roommates and is going to have a great time.  Can’t wait to witness this great adventure.
