Fun playdate

Kaitlyn was so excited - she doesn't have a ton of playdates - we usually just have other stuff going on and its hard to organize kindergarten playdates. I surprised her with a playdate with her best bud Colleen.  They ended up coloring at the bar.

Maddie, Maddie, Maddie

Sometimes being the parent really sucks.  We have told Maddie to clean up her room for so long.  We gave her a deadline where everything had to be put away or we were going in with garbage bags and throwing everything out.  We gave her 2 extensions when it seemed she was working on it and then when she was sick for a day.  The day of reckoning arrived and she didn't really care.  We went in with garbage bags.  She also has zero electronic privileges.

Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa came to celebrate Christmas and watched Hailey play some basketball.

Probably not what we envisioned with the bar (all the kids sitting at the bar)-but it works
 Opening presents - lucky girls

Hailey's Basketball

I never take pictures at Basketball so I did this weekend.  They lost their game 9-16 but Hailey played well and had 4 of their points.

She made both of her free throws

Christmas Concert

Kaitlyn is the only one left in the Christmas Concert.  Its for preschool - 2nd grade.  Think she was pretty excited not to have to share an event with her sisters.  Maddie was sick so Hailey stayed home with her

Funny

We don't remember what Kaitlyn said, but it was shocking to Hailey and I thought it was pretty funny

Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass

During the Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass, the third graders get to be in costume.  Maddie was one of the ones picked (Hailey was her year too).  I think because they do the after school Spanish club before it is a class.  In third grade it becomes part of the curriculum.

8th graders are the main people - Juan Diego and Mary

The crew with the priest and some of the mariachi band that plays the whole mass.  Its a very cool experience and mass - they do everything in English and Spanish
