Catholic Schools week

First day they got to do favorite holiday.  Maddie chose Beach day.  Told her it wasn't a holiday - she told me it was her holiday

Another weekend - another volleyball tournament

Hailey's team had a tournament in Milwaukee this weekend.

The girls went had a 3 way tie in their pool - 3 teams went 2-1.  We ended up getting 3rd by .02 when they went down to points.  This meant in the second day we could only get into the bronze bracket.  We didn't have any ability to get back into gold.  We won the rest of the way and ended up going 5-1 for the weekend.

Kris got some Bulls tickets from his friend who has season tickets to the game.  They played the Warriors and got killed but it was still a nice night out

New year, new club

Hailey and Maddie started with a new club this year (1st Alliance and Lions Jrs).  It was a little scary for them to move but they were looking to be more competitive and have stronger training.  This weekend was the first tournament of play for both.

Maddie is one of the captains on her team so here she is for the coin toss.  They ended up playing pretty well - going 5-1 and only losing to the team above them from their own club.  Lots of promise of a great season of growth.

Always the little one...small but mighty! Her team went 6-0 at the Windy City Power League seating.  I'd say that's a great start!

Hailey was lucky enough to go to the Bulls game with Quinn and she had a great time.  These were the only pics we got from her.

Desks

 Hailey wanted a new desk in her room and since everything was moved around there was more space.  We took her old corner desk and repainted the top since Hailey had gotten nail glue on it.  I had to sand it down to get that off and then Maddie wanted it hot pink.  So we refinished it to put in her room as a little vanity.
