Easter at Nana and Papa's

Hailey had a fun Easter at Nana's and Papa's. She got a bunny basket full of goodies and a new tricycle to ride around when she hangs out at Nana and Papa's. Her Aunt Katie also brought Hailey a bag of goodies - birdie, new book and a new outfit. Hailey made a new friend in my cousin Shannon. Shannon read Hailey books the entire afternoon. Hailey sported a new Easter outfit too. The shoes were cutting into her feet, but Hailey being the diva that she is, didn't want to take the shoes off. In fact, she cried when I did. She took a nap when we got home and had to put her shoes on the moment she got up.

Grandma and Grandpa Visit

Grandma and Grandpa Goetz came to visit Hailey this weekend. They brought Hailey an Easter basket filled with goodies. Hailey enjoyed throwing the fake grass all over the house. She also had fun wearing the bunny ears and posing for the camera. She is becoming quite the little ham.

Hailey's Fascination with all things Molly

Hailey's newest fascination is sitting with Molly while Molly eats. Hailey sits next to her and will actually take Molly's food and try to feed it to her. Molly is so great, she actually just waits until Hailey gets out of the way to continue eating. Hailey just sits next to her every night when Molly eats.

A night at the park

Hailey and I decided to take advantage of the warmer weather on Wednesday night. We went to the park after we got back from daycare. Hailey went down many of the slides. She wasn't very interested in the swings. I think the chains we still too cold to hold onto.

3 Musketeers

Hailey LOVES daycare and part of the reason she does is her good friends. She has 2 best friends and the 3 of them are inseparable. Here is a picture of the 3 Musketeers - Jossie, Lauren and Hailey

Hailey's First Official Haircut

This Saturday we decided Hailey needed a haircut. Previously, I had trimmed Hailey's hair, but it has gotten out of control. I think Kris wanted to let it grow out, but Hailey's hair is so fine (like her fathers), it doesn't really grow out. It just ends up looking shaggy. We made a trip to the kids haircut place at the mall, which was interesting. The boy next to us was screaming and a mother was screaming at one of the hair dressers about the haircut she gave her son. This all occured while Hailey was getting her haircut. Hailey did not want to sit in the car, so I got to be a part of the haircut. Hailey sat on my lap and got her haircut. Hailey wasn't sure about getting her haircut, but as long as she was sitting there with me she was ok. She had on her "Kiss me I'm Irish" shirt, so Kris thought she looked like a boy, but I think it looks good.
