Another competition

Sunday was another day for competitions.  This was Maddie's first this year and Hailey's 3rd.

The girls and I had to wait for the awards ceremony before we could leave.  Kris and Kaitlyn left early. This was what we found when we got home!

EIU Homecoming

Kris and I got away for an overnight to Eastern for Homecoming.  It was fun to walk around.  We went to Marty's and Ike's and a reception for the Board and finally to the parade and the game

Grandparents Day

Our girls are lucky enough to be loved by 2 awesome set of grandparents.  They had Grandparents day this weekend after mass and my mom was able to come since she is close.  These were some of the things they made for their grandparents

This was my girl on the way home - another 3rd place finish - tough to be disappointed every week. 

Superhero day

Girls had their run-a-thon at school and they wore superhero shirts for the day

Girls hung with Nana and Papa on Monday since I had to work.  They had a lot of fun with the pile of leaves

Hailey's 1st cheerleading competition

Hailey had her first competition of the season.  They did pretty well.  They got 3rd place and did not get their bid to state so the girls were disappointed.  They had to get 1st.  If they had not been paired against other teams they would have needed a 68 to get a bid.  They got a 68.2 - so their routine was enough.  Hoping they do well enough in the next ones to get one.

 Hailey tried a basket toss today.  They only practiced it for an hour before competition.  I am sure with more practice it will be awesome

 They were missing a flyer who had a family emergency.
