Drew

Today Hailey was putting water in her hair to smooth it down, then a barette and then she wanted a pony tail in her hair. When we asked her why, she told us for Drew. The conversation went something like this...

Me: Why are you doing that to you hair?

Hailey: To look pretty for Drew

Me: Why?

Hailey: Drew said I look pretty when I have things in my hair

Me: How old is Drew?

Hailey: 5 or something

OY VEY! We went on to talk about she was pretty all the time, etc. Help me - she's almost 4 and worried about looking pretty for a boy!

Shoes!

Hailey sure loves her shoes. I got her these shoes because she has a smaller size from last year that she keeps trying to wear. Needless to say, she is thrilled to have a pair that fits. She has not taken them off all weekend.

On the run

Maddie tries to run off every time she gets a diaper change or change of clothes. Here she is taking off and giggling while she does it.

You'd think they were in jail

Dance Class

Hailey has been in dance class for the past 6 weeks. Its called Moving and Shaking, so its just about movement. They don't do ballet or anything. All the other girls are all decked out in ballet outfits. I thought that was silly, so Hailey just wore some comfy clothes. That is until Hailey said to me, I don't want to wear pants and shirts, I want to wear a dress like the other girls. I felt bad, so went out and got her some gear. Here she is proudly wearing her new dance outfit.

The Zoo

We headed out on Saturday for a brief trip to the zoo. Hailey was excited and she quickly became our navigator. We need to see the giraffes, what about the monkeys, the lions and tigers. She also asked every 5 minutes if she could go on the carousel. We finally gave in, if just to stop her from asking. I went on with her, but I wasn't allowed to touch her or the zebra she HAD to ride. Little miss independent!

We went into the family zoo and they had face paints out. Hailey wanted some butterflies

Hailey is so happy that we can play with bubbles again. Notice the placement of her barrette - Hailey put that in herself - nice!

The PARK

These are from a couple of weeks ago, but I forgot to post them. The daily question is - "Can we go to the park?" Here's one of the days we actually had time and did.

Happy Birthday Nana!

The girls and I headed over to Nana and Papa's to celebrate her birthday and Kevin's b-day. We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the beautiful weather. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANA! We are so lucky to have you!

Hailey's 1st Friend B-Day Party

We had an exciting Sunday. Hailey got to go to her 1st friend b-day party and what a party it was. It was at Enchanted Castle in the bouncy room. First there was bouncing in 3 bouncys and then there was pizza and cake and then games. Hailey had a blast with her friends Jossie (the birthday girl) and Maya.

I think that one hurt!
