Hailey at Fall Fest

While Maddie was at her party, Hailey got to head over to St. Pius to fall fest.  She said the best was the pony's.  This from the kid who was terrified of them.

Maddie's 1st friend birthday party

Maddie was so excited - she was invited to her new friend from preschool's party, Mia.  It was at her house.  I really only got a picture of Maddie on the jumpy.  At one point, she yelled, "This is the best party EVER!"  The way she yelled it - I had visions of her yelling that at a frat party in college - ah geez.

Esme's b-day

We got to help celebrate Esme's birthday this weekend. The girls were so excited to go.  Maddie told me Esme was her best friend.  Now, Maddie does tell me everyone is her best friend, but it was still sweet.

The kids minus the littlest ones - Kaitlyn trying to get in on the action - she'll be there soon enough, Emmett, Maddie, Esme, Hailey, Bea, Iggy
 Singing to the birthday girl

Madison

Tried to get Maddie to allow me to take a picture.  She wasn't really cooperating.  She is getting so big too!  Those boots are a staple of her wardrobe too.

Kaitlyn

She is growing up so fast.  Kaitlyn is a crawling fool.  She is so fast - I have to make sure doors, pantry, everything is closed because she can get there before you know it.  She is also pulling herself up to standing and is so proud of herself when she does. She handles a sippy cup with ease.  I can't believe how quickly time is going. She will be 11 months this week.

She's off - I spent Hailey's dance class chasing Kaitlyn from one end of the hallway to another
Hi Mom
Look at the big girl!
Jenna is one of Hailey's friends, Emma's, older sister. She loves to play with Kaitlyn during soccer practice and games.  Kaitlyn is in the middle of eating a cheezit so she has a crazy face!
She loves carrying her around - its a nice break for me.  Her dad is Hailey's coach, so she is always at practices and games.

Little Miss Imagination

Hailey asked me for a box so she could make a house for her American Girl doll.

Here it is
This is her TV - she is watching iCarly
Hailey also made her some popcorn and a remote control for her TV. She also hurt her arm, so she had to make her a bandaid.

12 years

Maddie's first dance class

As the second child being dragged to her older sisters activities, Maddie was extremely ready for her first dance class.  She kept telling me, "I'm so excited".  She didn't hesitate as she went into class.  My big girl!

Just thought it would be funny seeing Hailey in the same outfit.  Maddie picked this one out of a couple of choices and I was amused since it was Hailey's first dance outfit.

Hailey is in HEAVEN

Our next door neighbors moved out.  He got a job in Nashville and a for rent sign showed up in their yard.  Today, we met the family that moved in.  They are 2 kids we see every morning at before care at St. Pius.  Sophia and Mateo are in 2nd grade and kindergarten.  The entire evening was spent running and playing between the 2 houses.  Hailey was already planning the next time she was playing with them.

Their cousins were over while they moved in, so there were 6 kids running around the houses.

Another one bites the dust...

She keeps loosing them and the adult ones are not coming in yet - gotta be getting tough to eat!

Painting

Our Saturday night consisted of putting Kaitlyn to bed and them priming the dining room.  Of course the girls wanted to help.  We let them do the wall behind the cabinet!

Soccer

Our first year on an all girls team - the Bobcats.  The girls won 3-2

Volunteer event

Daisy's, Brownie's and Girl Scout's headed to Feed My Starving Children to pack food this past Saturday.  It was a nice event.  Hailey needs to grow a couple of inches and it would have been a lot easier for her to do, but she did great.

Hailey and Emma - she about lost it when she found out she had to wear a hairnet
We had to run to soccer afterwards - so she wore her soccer shirt
Hailey put the scoops of chicken and veggies into the funnel.  Her bud Elle put the soy and rice.  Then we had to weigh the bags and then pack them into boxes.  All the girls packed 58 boxes of food which was over 12000 meals and would feed 34 kids for a year.  They did a great job!
All the girls

Special Zoo Night

Nana's work rents out the zoo for the night this past Friday night.  She was able to get enough tickets for a bunch of us to go.  The weather threatened rain (90%) but we managed to stay dry.  It was a fun night and one the girls love.

Immediately, Maddie said, "I want to see that guy" and quite the opposite, Hailey started cowering behind me stating she was scared of that guy.  Papa said, "Come on Maddie, I'll take you."  Kaitlyn just wasn't sure in general.  I couldn't get her to stop looking at Ronald.

Papa took the girls on the carousel
 Maddie is in heaven
Emmett, Olivia and Esme jumped on as well with Grandma Jeanne
 The girls were all across
Most of our crew deciding where to go
The bug started moving and making noise
Clearly, Hailey was excited to hang with Olivia
Checking out the stingrays and Maddie was excited to spend some time with Aimee
Girls demanded one last carousel ride on the way out.  You can see they are beyond tired.

Hanging with Grandma and Grandpa

We headed to Springfield for the holiday weekend. It was a bit rainy, but we managed to have a great time and wear the girls out.

Grandpa played some soccer with the girls
Hailey and Maddie running in the rain
We headed inside to color since it was raining.  Kaitlyn wanted to see what her big sisters were up to
Then we headed to the Illinois State Museum.  Girls had a lot of fun in their children's area
 Climbing in the trees
Playing in the dollhouse and stables
 Kaitlyn crawled around
and found some blocks to play with.
Hailey and Grandpa checked out some skulls
They had phones that gave you info on the exhibit.  Maddie kept talking on them like she was talking to someone.  You can tell she is having a spirited conversation here.
 Hailey's turn
 Running in the rain again

Sunday we headed to the pool at the yacht club.  Kaitlyn spent a ton of time in the water, but all those pictures involve me in a swimsuit and who needs to see that.  Here she is hanging with the G's
 Maddie striking a pose.
Daddy going down the slide.  He was trying to show Hailey it was not so bad.  I am not sure this was a good example of its not so bad.  I think he was surprised by the upswing at the end.
Hailey up the stairs for the tenth time, at least it felt like that.
She is thinking about it.  Hailey is such a little thinker.  She puts so much pressure on herself.  She wanted to do it so bad, but she was scared.
Here she is so upset that she can't quite get up the nerve to do it.  She works herself up so much.  We could care less if she did it or not, but she was so conflicted on doing it.
This girl has such an imagination.  Here she is serving me a pizza and lemonade.  She spent half the weekend serving me pretend food.
We had dinner at the yacht club and Kaitlyn is hanging with Grandma
 Grandpa taking Maddie around
Trying to get a group pic is tough
2 hams - was trying to get one of the water, but someone they ended up moving in front of the propane tank!

Thought maybe I got a good one, then I saw Haileys face -she was making goofy faces!
As close to a good one as I could get.
