Trick or Treating

We swung by my parents for some trick or treating. It was pretty cool ouside. Hailey was shy at first, but by the end she was a pro.

Maddie greeted the trick or treaters

Pretty hilarious - wig head

Not sure if Madison thought she was a dog. She was crawling around with this thing in her mouth.

Safe at home in jammies and Hailey decides to check out her loot. She had to lay it all out and count it!

Jack-o-lantern

Kris and Hailey cut up the pumpkin on Friday night. Hailey was a little hesitant to touch the inside, but she eventually got over it. Kris and Hailey thought the pumpkin - named Tico by Hailey - need a crown.

Madison tried to get in on the action, but she found something more interesting - an open bag of fishies.

Halloween at School

The party and dress up at school, was of course, very fun.

Tooth Fairy Day

Today, Hailey and I attended Tooth Fairy Day. It was an attempt to get Hailey used to the dentist. While she looks like she had a great time, she didn't say a word to the doctor or the tooth fairy. Ahh, my quiet little child. We didn't have 20 minutes for her to warm up to everyone. The dentists were really nice and we'll probably go back. Not sure if she'll ever get her teeth looked at, but we can enjoy Tooth Fairy Day! Thanks Andrea for the info on the practice!

Hungry Hungry Maddie

Maddie was eating yogurt melts and apparently she was hungry and they were good. I had a good laugh.

Sweet Sunday afternoon

Recycled Toy

Hailey's toy is making round 2 and Madison loves it.

Exercise

Kris was working out and Hailey wanted to join in. Now she goes to our workout room and wants to "exercise to get stronger". She has created her own little circuit. Its pretty funny.

Nana and Papa's

My Aunt, Uncle and cousin were in from California, so we went to my parents for dinner. Somehow, I didn't manage to get any pictures of them! Hailey watched cartoons in the office and Madison got to play with everyone. Madison is trying to get into the most breakable thing in my parents house. What a shock! Little troublemaker

Lombard Commons

Lombard had a little pumpkin patch -complete with Pumpkin jumpy, games, candy hunt, pony rides and a petting zoo. I brought my little camera and was having all kinds of issues, so I only have 2 pics. One is Hailey with her bud, Ashley, from daycare. If only Ashley were a little older, she would totally be babysitting. Hailey loves her and she is so great with her. The other is Hailey being all so tentative during the candy hunt. She got 2 suckers and she told me one was for her and one was for Ashley. Unfortunately, she went back for more and somehow lost the 2nd sucker. She was so disappointed she couldn't give her one. She is such a sweet girl...when she wants to be!

On the move

Oh yeah, she looks so cute and sweet and innocent. The little one is pulling herself up and climbing stairs and getting into every bottom shelf that has anything on it. Oh, she is going to be quite the little devil with the sweet innocent smile

Why can't we be outside?

Winter hat

Daddy's project

Kris decided to tackle another section of the yard this weekend.

Newest Project

I decided to practice my new sewing skills. I wanted to see what I could do. I made another pillowcase, just to make sure I remembered what I learned. Then I made a blanket of 2 pieces of fleece and some satin blanket binding. Yes, its a simple thing, but for me, it was a huge accomplishment. The biggest joy is that Hailey loves her new Ariel blanket and pillowcase and it goes everywhere with her. That's the best compliment.
