Arlington

Headed to Arlington with some friends.  We didn't do very well.  We had one horse we bet on throw his jockey off, so he didn't finish.  We had another one not even get to the starting gate - he was on a the track but he was not going to walk down the track.  We did have a lot of fun and a lot of laughs though

Our friends came over after the party pick up and stayed quite a while.  Kaitlyn got tired and fell asleep on the couch

First Dance Class

Kaitlyn had her first dance class today at the park district.  It is the first dance class we have signed her up for

Another weekend of sports

 Cross country meet - Hailey got 34th out of 106 girls - she was disappointed not to get a ribbon. Only 1-25 get a ribbon.  She is working hard at practice and running with the fast group - she is really enjoying running.

Then a volleyball game that they won.  Then we finished up with a volleyball tournament at Montini on Sunday.  They didn't do that well there though

Curriculum night

This week we had Curriculum night where we get to go hear about the plan for the school year.  Its also fun to see the little nuggets the girls leave us

Island Bay

We spent Sunday at Island Bay swimming with Jessica, Emma and Lilly.  The girls had a blast.  Grandma and Grandpa watched all the shenanigans

 Kaitlyn - this was like her 10th time.  The first time I was in the water to make sure nothing crazy happened.  She came down and screamed -"THAT WAS AWESOME".  The kids cracks me up

 We had dinner after a long day of swimming - at the end there was a sundae bar.  Not a peep once these girls had their ice cream

Meeting Ryan Held

When we got to Grandma and Grandpa's - Grandpa told Hailey that Ryan Held who won an olympic gold medal in the 4 X 100 relay was speaking at the YMCA across the street.  We were there for 10 minutes and Hailey, Kris and Grandpa headed over

 Hailey got her uniform signed?  Its her running uniform!  She said I cannot wash it.  I don't know how I feel about this
