Chuck E Cheese
When I went to pick Hailey up from her party, I told Maddie she could come and play for a while.
Maddie had a lot of fun playing and driving
Hailey's first Pedicure
Hailey had a birthday party on Saturday that involved getting a pedicure and then heading to Chuck E Cheese. They didn't get their nails done because they are not allowed to wear nail polish at school. Hailey loved every minute of it. I don't think I had a pedicure until I was 30 or so!
Little soccer player
Maddie wants to be just like her big sis. Here she is kicking the ball to me during Hailey's soccer practice.

Happy Anniversary!
Yep, its been 11 years! Crazy how time flies. I feel myself saying that all the time. Kris had an epiphany of sorts too. He mentioned to me - we have been married 11 years and have been together 17 - thats half of his life. I'm not sure if he was happy about that or not!
We brought the girls over to my parents for the night and we went out to dinner. We just went to a casual place and then we headed over to lucky strike - a bowling alley. There was a wait and it is in Yorktown, so we decided to walk around the mall. We ended up in the Sleep Number store, checking out beds. Our big night out and we checked out beds! You can see how exciting we are. It was nice to spend some time with Kris before the next little girl arrives. We have hit 34 weeks, so we only have 6 (or possibly 7 with my history!) weeks more to go. Thanks Mom and Dad for a relaxing night out and sleep in the next morning. Thats soon to be a thing of the past!
Beautiful flowers from my wonderful hubby!
Soccer
Hailey got to play goalie this weekend for the second quarter and I was without my camera! UGGGHHH! She really enjoyed playing goalie. She had one save and then the rest of the time, the offense kept the ball at the other end of the field, so she didn't see too much action. She said it was her favorite though. The kids all rotate at a chance to get to play goalie, so it might be a while before she gets her chance again.
Shelf is up!
The shelf that I prestained and stained went up this weekend. I was planning on taking before picture with the little shelf that was there, but Kris was too quick and had already taken it down.
Allowance
Hailey has really wanted to be helpful lately. She wants to clean and have chores, so we set up a couple. Trust me, its not much, but its something. She has to clean the basement, her room and clean her and Maddie's dishes from dinner. She also helps with other little things when needed. I know there will come a time where all this will be a hassle, so we are trying to embrace this helpful little girl. She comes home from school and says "Can I do my chores now?"
We said we would give her an allowance for doing these chores. She was pretty excited about that and was already thinking of the things she could buy with her allowance. Last weekend, I gave her 2 bucks for 2 weeks of chores. She was so excited, she wanted to know where she could keep it safe. Maddie was upset that she didn't have anything and Hailey said to her, "Maddie, I promise, when I save enough money, I will get you a toy too." She is so sweet to her little sister

Art Center
Here are the magnetic boards I put up last weekend. It allows me to put up all the girls art work. They have been working diligently to create things to put up.
Hanging out in the backyard
Saturday was a nice day for hanging out in the backyard. I love that Hailey wanted to push Maddie. Maddie was swinging higher than she ever has. The Van Awkens came over for dinner. It was great to see them and Gage is getting so big!
Fall Soccer
Started this Saturday. Hailey is on a team with only one person she knows from St. Pius. We think thats a pretty good thing. She actually ran and kicked and played soccer.
Hailey played in quarters 1 and 3
Hailey is joking around with the one person she knows - Jack
Maddie had to give Hailey a hug during half time
GO BEARS! I think its going to be a fun season!

The park
Grandma and Grandpa got a new wagon, so the girls took full advantage of it on their walk to the park. The girls were joined by Emma and Lilly again. I am told they were all new best buds from this trip. It looks like they had a great time.
This is my favorite - they look so cute!
Kris being artsy
The girls have been sleeping with these animals that glow. It started with Maddie having a tough time sleeping and she would turn on the light over her bed. Well, that wasn't going to fly since Hailey sleeps in the room too - so I found these little animals that glow LED light - different colors, so she would have some light and it wouldn't disturb Hailey. Well, once Maddie had one, Hailey wanted one. So, we have a little cat and a little bear. Here, Kris took a picture of them asleep all aglow from their little lights.
Grandma and Grandpa's pool
On the HOT Saturday - the girls headed to to Grandma and Grandpa's pool. Kris's cousin Jessica and her kids, Emma and Lilly came too. I guess they would be the girls 2nd cousins. They had a blast with the girls. There was also ice cream involved which always means happy kids!
What a wonderful weekend
Kris and the girls headed to Springfield to see his parents and I got the house to myself for a whole weekend! I can't remember the last time I was by myself for any long amount of time. You would think it would be relaxing, but this nesting thing made sure my weekend would be anything but. I stayed home to try and get the baby room and clothes and all that ready. I knew I would have a bunch of other things I wanted to get done too. If I had this nesting thing - minus the pregnancy - I could truly be super mom! Here are all the things I got done - cleaned the basement, cleaned the linen closet, front closet, kitchen closet (can you tell closets were a theme!), organized the bench in the kitchen, got baby room ready - bed, clothes, cleaned, decluttered and cleaned the bookcases, prestained and stained a cubby shelf for the kitchen, cleaned kitchen, floors in the whole house, grocery shopping, all the laundry, hung some metallic boards in the kitchen for the girls artwork. I think thats everything. I think I justified my stay at home!
