Nana told each of the girls when they graduate they get to pick a trip they want to go on. Last year, Hailey picked a cruise to the Bahamas which was supposed to happen this past summer. Clearly with Covid it was cancelled. This December, Hailey said I JUST want to go to a beach, so Nana planned the second trip - a quick trip after the holidays to Siesta Key. Nana told her it was up to her if I get to go - so I was "allowed" to go. We had a great time. It was a nice little get away.

One day it was going to rain in Siesta Key so we drove to the beach in Naples.
The next day, we drove to Treasure Island (about and hour away) to pick up her friend Claudia to spend the day with us
They played in the sand like little kids
They also walked 9 miles up and down the beach
They went swimming in the pool
We went to dinner at the Old Salty Dog and then drove her back
