Grandma's B-Day

We headed to Springfield this weekend to visit with Grandma and Grandpa for Grandma's b-day. Griffin, Gina, Mikka, Dackery, and Creighton were there too. It was a fun time.

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Little baker

Hailey helped me make a cake for Grandma for her birthday. I stole the idea of the sunflower cake from Kelli Frerichs. She recently posted it on her blog. Thanks for the idea Kel!

Eating

Watching these 2 can be pretty funny. First there was leftover cake from Papa's b-day which Hailey loved and Maddie wasn't too sure about. Then, there was pasta from the chef - chef boyardee that is!

I love Hailey trying to get in on this picture!

Nickname

Hailey is so funny. She has taken to calling Madison - Mr. Madigan. We are not sure where it came from, but she constantly calls her that.

She's BACK!

Maddie has been sick since Tuesday, so it was great to see her finally back to herself on Sunday. She was smiling, dancing and tormenting her sister. Gotta love normal!

Happy Birthday Papa!

Papa's B-day is coming up, so we celebrated on Saturday night. Happy Birthday Papa! We love you lots!

Pictures of Maddie at school

Just some funny pics of Maddie from school

Nice Sunday Dinner

My Aunt Deb and Uncle Pat and cousin Melissa were in town to visit my Grandma, so we had a nice Sunday dinner at my parents. I actually got a picture of the adults and some of the kids who thought it was nice enough out to play outside with chalk.

A little small

So funny, I thought, hey, I have this cute little Irish outfit that I remember Hailey wearing and it says 24 months....

St Patty's Day Celebration

We had planned to head out to the Elmhurst St. Patrick's Day Parade, but it was scheduled to rain all day. I reached out to Aimee to see what they were up to and she invited us to the party at the Irish American Heritage Center. Thanks Aim and the rest of the Cronin's and O'Leary's for letting us crash your festivities. Hailey and Madison had a blast with Olivia, Esme and Emmett.

Gearing up for the festivities
No, I REFUSE to dance!
You can see how long THAT lasted!
Maddie is double fisted already!
Maddie and Emmett are content
And she's off....

Maddie was warming up to Marc
Marc attempted to pick up all three girls...

A little dip in the pool anyone?

Ok, so it wasn't THAT nice out this weekend, but Grandma and Grandpa came up for a visit and we headed over to their hotel to swim in the pool. Madison didn't make it long - there was a lot of screaming, crying and shivering. End result was Grandma's lap - where she was content to watch Hailey swim around.

Santa Claus

Ho Ho Ho - I'm Santa Claus!

Dance Class

Hailey started dance class this weekend. It went extremely well. The best part - parents weren't allowed in the class, we got to watch outside on a TV. I think this was what made it easy for Hailey - I wasn't in there to hide behind.

Toy Day = Camera

Friday is typically toy day and this Friday Hailey wanted to bring her camera. She got this camera a long time ago, but it is a favorite again. When I picked her up, I couldn't imagine how many pictures she had taken...75! As Kris' dad said, I wonder where she gets that from. I guess she comes by it honestly. My little photog in training. Here is a sampling of the good pics and the - hmmm- what is this? pics

Below is Hailey's commentary on a couple of her 75 shots
