No regular season volleyball this year due to Covid. We CAN have intermural co-ed VB based on their class. No spectators. Games are broadcast online to watch.

Start of Windy City Power League
Both girls played Windy City Power League today. I got to go with Maddie and her team went 3-0. Hailey's went 2-1. I should get to go see both play tomorrow.

Snow
We got some big snow while we were both gone. Kris had to stay in LaPorte an extra night.
Kaitlyn and the tree house kids were trying to create a path through the backyard. It was pretty deep - didn't work very well.

Presidents Day Tournament- Indianapolis
Presidents Days Tournaments - Hailey headed to Indianapolis and Maddie went to Laporte IN. Covid restrictions still in place - LaPorte could only have 1 spectator per player and Indianapolis you could have 2. That mean Kaitlyn got to come with me since Nana and Papa are in Florida for the month. Do not have any pics of Maddie since Kris didn't take any!

Student of the Month
Hailey was named Student of the Month
Montini Catholic is proud to recognize our students receiving Student of the Month accolades for November/December. "Each month we recognize those students who make our school community a better place," said Activities Director and teacher, Mr. Andrew Weisenburger, who initiated the campaign to honor extraordinary students - nominated by faculty and staff members. "They truly represent and uphold our Lasallian values and traditions here at Montini. Because of their academics, extra-curricular participation, Lasallian spirit, and pride in Montini, we are honored to announce our Bronco Students of the Month."
Students named Bronco Student of the Month for November/December (in addition to their nomination remarks) are:
Freshman Hailey Goetz - "Hailey is an exceptional young adult. She has a noticeably pleasant disposition, a quality that helps her contribute to any group of which she is a member. She is highly intelligent and focused on her academics and consistently goes the extra mile. Hopefully, our school can see her athletic talents soon whenever volleyball starts again. In her short time at Montini Hailey has impressed upon her teachers her dedication to her studies and has started her high school career off on a great start."
