Finishing Genius project
Maddie had a “genius project” at school where for weeks they could learn to do something new. Some of her classmates learned to crochet, make cookies, make pasta, make balloon animals and so many other things. Maddie chose to contact Lurie’s Children’s Hospital and organize a toy drive. Thanks to all the generous donations she was able to collect over $1200 worth of toys and over 110 toys. Today we got to deliver them to the donation coordinator at Lurie’s. Project complete!
