Bathroom remodel

Yea, thats what it looks like - a shell of itself.  Papa took on this project in his retirement.  I am hoping he didn't bite off more than he can chew :)

Recital

2 dance recitals this weekend.  They broke up the little girls and big girls.  Nana and Aunt Kate joined us for the fun.
 Maddie is ready

She did great and had a lot of fun -first question - where are my flowers?

Basketball star ready for her dance recital

Basketball player

Apparently we have a player.  Two weeks ago, she had 2 baskets.  She shot 7 times.  Kris was at that game, I was not, so I have not seen it.  Then this past Saturday she went with friends because we had Maddie's recital in the morning and she made 3 baskets.  She's really loving basketball at the moment.

Flat Stanley

Hailey had a Flat Stanley project for school.  We send Flat Stanley to someone and they take pictures with him and send him back to tell about his adventures.  Hailey sent hers to Kris' cousin Maggie in Alaska.  He spent time with her kids Soren and Sebastian.  Hailey was so excited when it came back and she got to tell everyone about it.

Daddy Daughter Dance

The girls went to the Indian Princesses Daddy Daughter Dance this weekend.

Maddie only lasted about a half hour and Kris has to bring her home.  There weren't a whole lot of girls her age and she hurt her ankle earlier in the day and was hobbling around.

Not sure if they are tired or what….

This one….

its a good thing she is cute - she gets into way more than her sisters ever did at her age
Found her using a bag of diapers as a stand to get something on the counter
Taking a selfie with her daddy
Found her sneaking to get the cupcakes Nana had brought over.  I told her she could get one after I found her like this
Enjoying every bite

St Pius Auction

Had a great time at the school auction.  Our friends won a limo raffle so we got to go in style.  We also didn't have to worry about driving to or from - bonus!

Hailey made the cover of the auction booklet

An auction item we won.  Each class does a project that is listed for bid.  This was Maddie's 4 yr old preschool class.  They created the skyline with their fingerprints.  We even got a key so we knew whose was whose.  We thought it was so cool.

Trouble with a capital T

Note to self -do not leave anything within reach of this one…. that is lipstick

Haircuts

The girls got haircuts this week and Maddie wanted to chop hers.  She said - how about to my ears, I said, hmm, how about your chin?  Thats where we settled.  Hailey didn't want anything cut.  I told her she had to have it trimmed!

Kaitlyn wanted her picture taken too - no haircut for her though

Food Wars

In coordination with Catholic Schools week, school hosted a "Food Wars".  All the 6th, 7th and 8th graders had food booths and it was a competition.  They all picked a charity to represent.  All told, they made over 10,000 for the charities.  We went and the girls had pizza, cotton candy, cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, snow cones, whew….

Hailey's Flat Stanley buddy, Gianna and her booth was princess themed

The emcees were the music teacher and gym teacher
We went with their friends, Ella and Chloe
