Daddy daughter dance

Girls went to the daddy daughter dance this Saturday for Indian Princesses.  Kaitlyn got to go for the first time and had a blast

Beautiful day in February

Saturday we had basketball pictures, then Hailey's basketball game, then the stone guy.  Finally in the afternoon, I decided the girls needed to enjoy the beautiful weather (in the 50's)  We headed to the park.

Crazy winds

On Friday it was really warm but crazy windy.  I got out of work early and was too early to pick up the  girls so I went to see what was going on at the house.  Unfortunately, I found this.  This tree was on a car and it was our electrician's car.  The tree is not from our new house - it is across the street - just bad luck that is where he parked.

Our guy with the heavy machinery lifted the tree off the car so he could drive it out.  Then our tree guy cut up the tree into pieces and put it on the parkway.  The cops were pretty happy that they did the work for them - maybe that will buy us some good karma with the city?

House updates

No pictures to really post.  We have been meeting every week with different subcontractors to walk through the house and determine where everything will go.  We have met with plumbers, electricians, flooring guy, and the low voltage guy.  The plumbers are done, the HVAC guys are close to complete and electricians will start this upcoming week.

When we showed up on Friday to go through the house, both Nicor and Comed were at the house so it looks like we will have gas and electric in the house, shortly.  

Lots going on and seem to be on track.

Valentine's Dinner

We headed out to dinner with some friends.  Kris ordered a flaming coffee for dessert. Little did we know it was a table show!

I guess I forgot to post this - Maddie broke her bottom retainer.  It "fell" out of her mouth during recess and another kid stepped on it and it broke in 2.  We had done so well up until now
