Visit with friends

Our friends Andy and Erin came over with their new son Gage. It was great to catch up and see them as parents.

There is just nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby.

Hailey really liked playing with Gage.

The picture kind of didn't turn out,but we were showing off the boat shoes we gave Gage. They were Kris approved!

Papa's and Uncle Mike's B-Day

We went over to Nana's and Papa's to celebrate the birthdays.

I asked Hailey to sign the card for Papa and she decided to draw a ton of things. Maddie, of course, could not be left out, so she scribbled on the side

Here comes the cake - the girls help blow the candles out

New Table

So we got our old blond table that we had in our dining room when we got married. We used wedding money and gift cards from Crate and Barrel to buy it. That was more than 10 years ago. Since then, we bought the black cabinet for our dining room and the blond table didn't really fit anymore. We went looking for something casual, since thats how we are and it would be the table we eat everyday dinner at. This is what we got. Now we just have to stain our bar to match.

Slave drivers

Maddie told me she was cleaning the whole house. Here she is cleaning the window with one of her wipes -which is so NOT helpful!

Crazy with fresh air

More playing outside - this time in the backyard.

Molly is wondering what these crazies are doing...

More outside time

You'd think we'd been cooped up in the house....oh wait - we have been this entire winter. The girls wanted to crack open the garage and play with everything. We didn't bring Hailey's bike out since it probably needed air in the tires - thats why you'll see her riding all the little toys

Daddy's home!

That little motorcycle is the best $20 I ever spent!

PARK

We enjoyed one of the nice afternoons at the park after school and daycare.

Lexi, Cole and their mom joined us at the park at St. Pius

Hard to believe she is becoming such a big girl...

Playdate

Hailey had a playdate with Lexi, one of her friends from St. Pius. Her mom suggested Monkey Joe's. They also have a son, Cole, who is a month younger than Maddie. The girls had a blast!

IAHC

We headed to the Irish American Heritage Center this Saturday for their St Patricks Day festivities.

We made a great decision making Aimee Maddie's godmother. Maddie is enamored with her. When we are with Aimee, I call Maddie her little stalker.

Poor Beatrix did NOT like the bagpipes, but Dad made it all right when he covered her ears.

I love watching these 2 together. I see such a different side of my dad with my girls.

The adults - actually tried to get a picture of people other than the kids

Boyfriend/girlfriend - Hailey asked me if Madison was going to marry Emmett. For some reason, she and all her friends are fascinated by who they will marry. For Hailey - its Justin Bieber or Eddie from St. Pius.

Hailey loves the nurturing role of big sister

Dancing queens

Whatcha looking at?

I thought this picture from this year looked familiar - luckily Emmett doesn't mind sharing his mom's lap with his girlfriend. The second one is from last year. They look like such babies!

Maddie got her groove on FOREVER and much of it was by herself. The big girls took a break from dancing, but Maddie stayed on the dance floor by herself.
Silly girls - sure had fun!
