Saturday night we went to Roundheads for a team dinner - was very nice and the girls had fun with their friends

Food Wars

To kick off Catholic Schools week - the Junior High kids have the opportunity to have a friendly competition to earn money for their favorite charities.  They set up and sell food from their booths.  The winner gets to take half of everyone elses profits for their charity.  Hailey and her friends made 1482 and got second place - so they will give 741 to Special Olympics and 741 to St Jude Childrens Hospital (which was the winning food booths charity).  They did a great job and I was so proud of the girls

This was the 4th year for the event and it has raised almost 40,000 for charities

We had a wheel where kids could spin to win a stuffed animal or other prizes.  They were able to spin with $3 in food purchase

Free Throw Shooting Contest

Saturday night was the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Shooting Contest for ages 9-14.  Maddie did it for the first time and Hailey did it.  Last year Hailey won for her age but this year she struggled.  Maddie struggled too but since she was the only 9 year old, she won for the 9 year olds and will have to move onto regionals.

Project

We have some extra chairs that were an old dining room set of ours from Crate and Barrel.  I hated to get rid of them.  I can use them when we have people over (or to go with Kris' poker table).  This is the before and after

Actually Kris wanted to go to the boat show and no one really wanted to go - so it ended up being KK and Daddy time.  Kaitlyn (and Kris) loved it.
